I met with Brittany and Brendan for their engagement session back in March on a cold overcast morning. They are based in Philadelphia and meeting in the middle at their Alma mater - the University of Delaware - made perfect sense! The campus was empty and it felt like we had the grounds to ourselves. It was so much fun to explore with them and, of course, capture a few photos at the iconic kissing arches.
Brittany & Brendan have been together since the summer of 2012 when they met during a whirlwind beach romance at Dewey. As luck would have it, they were both entering their senior year of undergrad at UD and were able to return to school together where their love grew. After graduation and four years of long distance while Britt worked and Brendan attended law school, the two moved to Philly together.
They absolutely love the beach and during one summer weekend at Bethany Beach, Brendan made reservations at their favorite local sushi restaurant. After dinner, the two went across the street to the beach, walked to the water, and Brendan got down on one knee and popped the question. Brittany of course said yes!
I can't wait to join this outgoing and fun couple this Saturday for their waterfront estate wedding day. Incredible things are in store for these two!
