I have had the privilege of working with the G family for a couple years now.  Sweet Lucia is as precious as they come and a total joy!  Flashback to this summer... yes, I am a bit behind blogging portrait sessions... It was a 100 degree day and we met as early as possible to avoid the heat - which was perfect for the light!

Lucia played in the garden in her romper and was adorable as ever.  By the time we got back to their house she was rosy cheeked and ready to hang out in the air conditioning with a good book.  Always a fantastic time with this crew and Jones Point Park provided a spectacular backdrop.  Happy Friday!

Georgetown Waterfront Family Photos {The Shah Family}

Meet the Shah Family.  This family of 4 will soon become a family of 5 next month!!  These two boys are thrilled to become big brothers in January.  I for one can't wait to meet the little bundle either.  We met at the Georgetown Waterfront for their family photos during an especially chilly (but gorgeous) day, and soon found ourselves taking refuge at the canal to escape the winds near the water!

Downtown Annapolis Engagement Photography {Ana & Ben}

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love these two!   They are witty, upbeat, fun, and have an awesome sense of humor.  We probably had too much fun a few weeks ago during their photo session.  I knew after her first email to me that I wanted to work with Ana.  I'm pretty sure that every email and conversation I've had with her has made me smile.  These two are my kind of peeps!   

A few weeks before our scheduled engagement session Ana emailed me and broke some BIG NEWS!  She and Ben are EXPECTING!!!  Our engagement session became a combination engagement & maternity photo session!  I've been holding onto their photos and keeping them on the D-L, but I can now shout this from the rooftops since Ana made the big announcement via Instagram.  

It was an amazing experience to capture not only the the excitement of these two getting married, but also the anticipation of adding a third member to their family.  So much love.

Ana & Ben - congratulations again!  x2 ;-)  I can't wait to photograph your wedding in a few short weeks!

Downtown Annapolis Maternity Photography {Shuk-Kuen & Ryan Expecting}

You will probably recognize these two!  Shuk-Kuen & Ryan are one of my couples from 2012, and I just love them to pieces.  They're the sweetest!!  This little girl is going to have it good.  

It is such an incredible feeling to have couples come back to me after their wedding and witness their families grow.  I have worked with them from their engagement, to their wedding, now with their first born!!!!  

We meet in Downtown Annapolis for their session in 25 degree weather.  They're troopers.  What can I say, my couples are awesome like that.  By the end of our shoot, it was time to head to the cars and put the heat on our toes full blast!  I am so happy the weather finally broke.  Hellooooooo SPRING!

Congratulations you two.  It was so great seeing you and I can't wait to meet her!!!
