Heather Ryan Photography: Maryland Eastern Shore Fall Wedding

On Saturday I joined Britt and Brendan at the bride's private family estate in Trappe, MD for their gorgeous Eastern Shore wedding. The last time I saw these two was on a freezing morning in March for their engagement session, and the warm temps and sunny skies this weekend were much more fitting for these two beach lovers!!

Before their ceremony, B+B exchanged letters to read before seeing each other for their first time down the aisle. It was the sweetest moment of both reflection and anticipation. Britt enjoyed a first look with her bridesmaids and father before guests began to arrive. Their ceremony was skillfully timed with the lowering sun and the light glistened on the water, offering the most dreamy atmosphere to marry the love of your life. During sunset, they allowed plenty of time for portraits and the sky put on a show.

I am so happy for these two! Every detail of their blue + white wedding was perfectly planned, down to the individual vintage vase centerpieces Britt collected herself. Katie with Social Graces Events prepared and coordinated a seamless day, their team of florists designed a most dazzling atmosphere, and the live band was so much fun to dance to (me included!). Brendan's brother even surprised the guests by singing their first dance song!! Shades of blue and white felt timeless and elegant, perfectly paired with the setting.

The joy and love surrounding these newlyweds is tangible. Britt and Brendan are a dynamic duo bringing laughter and happiness with them. It is clear that they are truly best friends and have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them. I can't wait to see what their future holds!
