Purcellville, VA Wedding at Shadow Creek | Caitlin & Vivek

On Sunday I met up with Caitlin and Vivek at Shadow Creek in Purcellville, VA for their vibrant and awesome Memorial Day Weekend wedding.  These two newlyweds are originally from Virginia but have recently moved to Seattle for work and their next adventure together.  Their wedding day brought them back home to Virginia - which is incredibly important to note because Caitlin and Vivek were destined to be together.  Having been born in the same hospital just months apart and growing up in the same neighborhood with the same circle of friends, they started dating in undergrad at UVA and spent their grad school years dating long distance.  What a truly exciting day for this boy and girl next door!

The now newlyweds opted for a first look before the ceremony to utilize as much time as possible before their out of town guests arrived for the ceremony.  Mingling with family and guests was a high priority for these two and a first look was a perfect addition to their day!  Kelley with Event Studio helped with planning their wedding while they were on the west coast and all of the details and florals were exquisite.
