On Saturday I met up with Jessica and Scott at Woodlawn Manor for their beautifully relaxed and intimate wedding day. While it was chilly and rainy, that didn't stop this adventurous couple from having their day as they envisioned it. As avid runners and hikers who were even engaged on a mountain(!), these two are all about the outdoor life! Naturally much of their day was outdoors as well.
I am so grateful for fun couples that are game to brave the rain for portraits. Jessica and Scott did a first look before their guests arrived to take full advantage of cocktail hour with friends and family visiting from out of town. They even had their Insta-famous Rhodesian Ridgeback, Atlas, join in for much of their day - and you guys know how much I love having pups along for the fun! During dinner the sun made an appearance and we popped out for a few additional sunset photos.
Working at Woodlawn Manor is always a joy for me - their grounds are always dazzling. It's a hidden gem! Willow Oak Flower Farm put together a gorgeous natural bouquet for Jessica and a boutonniere of herbs for Scott while Catering by Seasons created a fresh farm-to-table dinner that was sourced from local farms, stunning, and delicious to boot.
Jessica & Scott - what can I say, you guys are awesome. From our hike at Patapsco with Atlas to your wedding day and meeting your family and friends, I have loved every moment of getting to know you both. Congratulations again!! I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon :)
