On Saturday I photographed Jackie and Steve's classic black tie wedding at the Key Bridge Marriott and it was a truly spectacular celebration of their union and love.
It is no secret as to how much I love first looks. The now newlyweds decided to do a first look to make the most of their timeline and be able to enjoy their cocktail hour with guests. After preparing for the day, everyone headed to Montrose Park in Georgetown for photos - even their beautiful poodle Cookie! Prior to their traditional ceremony where they were married under a Chuppah, they signed a Ketubah and said their vows in a private and intimate setting surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was probably my favorite part of the day - many tissues were needed and I was in tears too.
Gold and white details along with black tuxes and bow ties were the perfect timeless color scheme and attire. The bridesmaids looked stunning in Badgley Mischka sequined dresses with an open drape back. Jackie wore her mother's jewelry and veil, and her mother's pin was pinned to her bouquet.
I must thank the incredible team of vendors I had the privilege to work with. Alexandra Nesterak Events kept everything running smoothly and the Key Bridge Marriott ran a flawless venue. DJ Nelson Vargas with Chris Styles DJs kept the dance floor full and fun and even arranged a great dance floor shot!
Thank you again, Jackie and Steve, for allowing me to document your day. I am grateful to have been your wedding photographer and I hope you are enjoying your Honeymoon!!
