It is no secret that I LOVE backyard wedding days and Lexi and Bradley's was easily one of my all-time favorites! L&B are incredibly kind and considerate, which is no surprise because their families are some of the most wonderful people I have had the opportunity to work with. These two sweethearts have been together for years and met each other in youth camp where they continue to volunteer today. Lee, the woman who married them, has watched them grow from youth group attendees to adult volunteers. Her words during their ceremony were felt by all.
During their day they were surrounded by their closest immediate family, with a guest list of about thirty. Instead of feeling like a hired vendor on their day, I felt like a family member documenting one of my own family gatherings. Everything took place at Bradley's parents' home, who were the most gracious of hosts. His dad is also a full-time horticulturist and the gardens were dazzling.
It was an evening of celebration! Lexi and Bradley's playlist had everyone happy all night long. We have the same taste in music, so I too was jamming out :) The kids played giant jenga, cornhole, and jumped on the trampoline while the adults caught up over wine and champagne, and danced on the dance floor. Lexi may have even done a flip on the trampoline herself! At dusk the party lights subtly illuminated the festivities and it was the perfect setting to kick-off the marriage of Lexi and Bradley. To top it all off, at the end of the night everyone grabbed a sparkler to give the newlyweds a proper send-off!
Lexi and Bradley, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am incredibly grateful to have met you and your families. Your adoration for one another is a thing of beauty, and it has been an honor to witness and document this part of your love story. Congratulations again! (hugs) xo, H
