I had the most phenomenal day on Saturday with the new Mr. and Mrs. Plimpton! The newlyweds enjoyed a gorgeous seventy degree day in the middle of June that had everyone enjoying the outdoors all day. Melissa and the ladies got ready at her uncle's house just one block from the church where they were married while the guys got ready just a few blocks away. Theresa with G.E.M. and I toted their gifts and letters to one another between houses as they prepped for their big day.
Just before heading to the church, Melissa enjoyed a first look with her father that left me misty eyed. The anticipatory moments are some of my favorite!! Following their ceremony at St. Mary's Star of the Sea, the bridal party hopped onto a bus to take photos overlooking downtown Baltimore at Federal Hill Park.
This wedding was also special for me. There were FIVE HRP couples in attendance! Past, current, and future! I'll just say that I adore this crew and consider myself now an honorary member ;-)
Their spectacular day wrapped up at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. This was my first wedding at BMI and I loved every minute. It's a unique venue offering so many photo opportunities and fun activities for guests. Oh and the views! Waterfront overlooking downtown Baltimore and the Domino sign! During their reception everyone spent the time taking in the cool evening air and the watching the sunset. It was perfect.
Melissa and Andrew - I love you two!! Thank you again for bringing me aboard to document your spectacular day. xoxo, H
