Sometimes everything just works out better than you could ever expected it to. I met Kelly and Brandon back in the fall where upon sitting down at Starbucks with them Kelly asked for a pen and knew she wanted to sign with me then and there. I knew I wanted to work with them too, these two together are just. so. stinkin. Awesome! They have a very relaxed and fun energy that has a gravitational effect.
Let me tell ya, I thrive on true love. It makes me feel more energetic, creative, and giddy to the point that I'm literally skipping down the street during an engagement session. That may or may not have happened... :) We met at the Georgetown waterfront then made our way to the canal. Last Saturday was unusually warm, the sun was wonderfully diffused, and I think everyone had a little extra spring in their step. We met super early and were the only people out other than the runners -- who continually congratulated them on their engagement as they sped by. Their chemistry is a beautiful thing and it was an inspiration to photograph them together during this exciting time.
Kelly & Brandon are getting married in September and I am counting the days. It feels so far away. I can not wait to photograph them as they say I do!
