{ Thankful }

October is here!  Fall is one of my favorite seasons!!  That and spring - I have a thing for the changing weather.

This fall my calendar is very full.  And so is my heart.

I'm not one to write the super personal posts, but something has me reflecting more so than usual the last few days.  I am incredibly grateful to be doing what I do.  Capturing friends and client's memories during the most monumental times in their lives...?  What a feeling.  What an honor... really.

My weekends are completely booked through November with weddings, newborn shoots, and family photos.  People who are celebrating life and love.  I am so psyched for what is in store!  With that, though, comes a reduction in my personal time and the time I spend with family, friends, and my number one favorite guy.  This is a thank you to them.

To my parents who I haven't seen in a several weeks (which is rare):  thank you for your love and support in everything I do.  I can't wait to get hugs soon and catch up over some good wine!  To my friends: thank you for always lending an ear and having great roof-top deck parties.  And to my sweet, caring, and patient guy: thank you for being you.  It has been over eleven years and you are still my rock.

You see, I have a tendency to over do it.  I love being busy, meeting new people, seeing new things, working on the next big project!  When I retreat into the editing cave for hours on end he's the one to remind me to come up for air.  Reggie: You ground me through it all and I am forever grateful to have you in my life.  We make a pretty damn great team ;)

Because no post is complete without a picture, this is the most recent one of us.  After a rare and much needed hike just as the seasons were beginning to change.  Since it's just the two of us, most of our pictures these days are selfies (I truly dislike that word BTW)... Maybe one day soon we'll get around to having someone take our pictures!
