This week I watched a documentary called Home by director Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The cinematography was incredibly beautiful, but the message did not paint a pretty picture. The movie is similar to An Inconvenient Truth in it's message, but with better imagery. It's difficult to comprehend the changes that scientists are predicting but I'd rather be aware of these possibilities than in the dark.
I consider myself very aware of my acts as a human and the impact I have on our earth, yet this movie upset me to no end. I watched Home on Sunday and every day since I have thought about the movie, multiple times a day.
I won't go into the details, or lecture about taking care of our planet, but I will recommend you rent and watch this movie. Maybe it will have an impact on you too. After all, what can it hurt? Knowledge is power.
So, in light of admiring our beautiful earth, here's one of earth's beautiful creatures. I had fun chasing this guy around the back yard :)
