I don't know where the last month has gone! I have been working with some of the best couples and families and time has just flown. As a result, my poor blog has suffered. But, no more!! I have been dying to share this spectacular day with you.
Colleen & Wes worked with the team at DC Elopements to set-up a simple and timeless day to enjoy to it's fullest. With just nine guests, their ceremony is the most intimate wedding I have photographed to date - and also one of the most joyful!! Following their ceremony at the DACOR Bacon House in NW DC, the newlyweds and I hopped into an Uber to the Lincoln Memorial then to the Smithsonian Castle for a few photos. After adventuring around the city and enjoying their perfect evening, we parted ways and the couple met up with their families for a dinner at one of their favorite restaurants.
The smiles on their faces say it all! Pure joy and happiness! I hope to photograph more elopements in the future, this evening was truly memorable and special, and one I will remember forever.
Colleen & Wes, Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to document your wedding and first couple hours as newlyweds. I hope you are enjoying this special time!! Cheers, H
