On Saturday I spent the most gorgeous fall day with Caitlin and Jonathan as they were married at Dahlgren Chapel on the Georgetown University grounds and later celebrated at the Key Bridge Marriott. The newlyweds met and fell in love at Georgetown and are proud Alumni, Go Hoyas(!), so there couldn't have been a more perfect setting. All felt right in the world as they popped champagne after leaving the campus through the front gates and heading toward their reception.
Their day was filled with accents celebrating their love, faith, family history, and Georgetown pride. Dahlgren Chapel and the Georgetown campus did not disappoint and were especially stunning. The classic navy blue bridesmaid dresses accented with pretty pink blooms were a perfect match to the guys' Vera Wang suits. There was a big surprise during the reception! Caitlin was an Irish dancer and her old school showed up for a fantastic performance. I was in heaven as I absolutely LOVE Irish dancing! What fun! Oh, and *swoon* the Key Bridge Marriott! Everyone admired the views of the Univeristy and city where it all started for these two as they danced the night away. This one is for the record books and there couldn't be a more deserving couple.
Caitlin & Jonathan, Congratulations again! Thank you for the honor of capturing your day and enjoy your honeymoon!
