Annapolis, MD Navy Wedding at Londontown and Gardens | Caitlin & Andrew

This past Saturday I had the honor of photographing Caitlin & Andrew's Londontown and Gardens wedding.  It was a simply spectacular day, which is a far cry from what we were anticipating and preparing for -- hurricane Hermine!  But the stars aligned and Hermine skirted the eastern shore never finding its way into Annapolis.  Caitlin, Andrew, and their family and friends enjoyed one of the most the most idyllic outdoor garden weddings I have witnessed to date.  We began their day at O'Callihans in Downtown Annapolis before driving over to Londontown for their first look.

I am fortunate to have worked with an fabulous team of vendors during their wedding.  Nageen with Glamour and Glitz Events really did an impeccable job coordinating their beautifully understated wedding day, while the Wicked Willow created gorgeous bouquets that really hit the mark, and Caitlin's hair and makeup were lovely thanks to Creative Images Hair & Makeup Artistry.  I was, of course, overjoyed to be back at Londontown and Gardens as it's easily one of my favorite local venues.

Neither Caitlin nor Andrew knew that the fateful evening out with friends would forever change their lives for the better.  When they first met and chatted over drinks, they quickly realized how much they had in common and have been inseparable ever since.  Knowing that they were meant for one another, they moved in together, rescued a second greyhound, and were soon engaged to be married.  Caitlin is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Virginia where Andrew is an Officer in the Navy.  Talk about the impressive power couple!

Caitlin & Andrew traveled from Virginia to Annapolis to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends.  The day was intimate and relaxed as guests enjoyed the greenery and water view.  The groomsmen looked sharp in their Navy whites and blues, executed a Navy arch entry, and to top things off there was even a bald eagle sighting following their ceremony!

Congratulations again you two.  I hope that you are enjoying your honeymoon!!
