Charlotte & David were blessed with an incredibly perfect wedding day that took place at the Newton White Mansion this past Sunday. It was the quintessential, sunny, 70-something spring day when they wed in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by their closest loved ones. I must note that their group of family and friends are some of the greatest I have worked with on a wedding day. Their cake, decor, makeup, hair, and music were all provided by a friend or family member.
When I arrived it was all hands on deck - everyone had an important task to tend to! It was wonderful to watch everyone contributing with such happiness and pride in making Charlotte & David's day not only beautiful, but also extremely meaningful and memorable. They're a very tight-knit group! Many attended Earlham in Indiana, and this was where Charlotte & David met and fell in love. We made sure to capture a fun generations photo of the Alumni!
This is not the first time I have had the pleasure of working with this family. About 10 months ago I was lucky to photography David's brother, Tom, when he married Sara at the DACOR Bacon House in DC. I was thrilled to learn they're enjoying their newlywed bliss and just purchased a home together! I can't put into words the amount of joy that took place on this day. Throughout the time I spent with Charlotte & David all I could do was smile. Happiness was all around and each heart-felt speech painted one crystal clear picture: these two were made for one another.
Congratulations again, Charlotte & David!! Thank you for inviting me to capture your day.
