Woodlawn Manor Wedding {A Second Photographer Experience}

As a creative I am always working to learn new things, push myself with new techniques, play with the light, get a new perspective...  Never. Stop. Learning.  I truly enjoy working as a second photographer.  It allows me the freedom to document the day from a different perspective and push myself outside my comfort zone of shooting.  

Many times it's for my friend Jessica at Jessica Eastburn Photography.  She is such a wonderful, talented, and accomplished woman - I adore working with her and she has the BEST clients!  This day in late August was particularly stunning at the Woodlawn Manor.  It is a true hidden gem in Sandy Spring, MD.  This is the first time I have shared a second photographer shooting experience on my blog.  Here is some of the day from my lens.

Whenever I second shoot I get to spend a lot more time with the groom & groomsmen than I normally do.  These guys were a fun group to hang out with.

They had this cute photo area all set up with props
