But that's not where their day started. Kesha began her wedding day at her Grandmother's house in Rockville with hair, makeup, mimosas, family and friends. I hadn't met Kesha and David yet (other than our fun Skype date months before) so I was over the moon excited to meet them in person.
As I walked in the door I was greeted by her gracious grandmother, her fun bridesmaids, parents, and David's parents. Kesha's Grandmother showed me some of their family photos and I especially loved the wall of family wedding photos. So much like my own Grandmother's home! Rich with history, family, and love. I imagined Kesha & David's picture would soon make an appearance :) The air was light and fun with music playing and all the girls laughing as they got ready.
I knew immediately it would be a fantastic day.
Kesha is stunning!!
...this veil though. Gorgeous.
Time to get Kesha & David over to the Georgia Avenue Baptist Church to say I Do!
I absolutely loved Kesha's father, Hugh.
I was excited to go back to Top of the Town for their reception! This simple entry leads to a breathtaking reception area with panoramic views of DC and Virginia.
Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs!!!
Kesha & David graciously thanked their guests for joining them on their wedding day ~
~ then it was time to get the party started!
The Dessert Table was magnificent! Expertly crafted by Ameenah at Charm Decor.

Dear Heather,
ReplyDeleteWe are not able to adequately put into words how thankful we are to you for documenting Kesha and David's special day.
From the moment you came to the house until you left the reception hall, it was just a delight being with you. You have a warm sweet spirit mixed in with your professionalism.
Pastor Singleton and I commented on your ability to be invisible throughout the ceremony and the reception, and yet this preview shows that you were able to capture all the beautiful details and emotions of the entire event. We looked at the pictures with tears of joy because they touched our hearts.
Thanks again; we really appreciate everything.
Hugh & Suzanne Black
