This day was an absolute dream! Photographing Emily & Nick's wedding was better than I ever could have imagined. Every detail was timeless and heartfelt. These two deserve every bit of happiness in the world. I can say without hesitation that they are two of the nicest and most genuine people I have met. Nick serves in the United States Air Force, and now these two have finally started their lives together as husband & wife!
I met up with Emily at her parent's home in Bowie, MD and from there she went to marry Nick at the Sacred Heart Chapel. The chapel, originally dating back to 1741, did not disappoint in it's intimacy and charm - and I must say it was a great feeling being able to document their love in our home town. From there we went to the exquisite St. Francis Hall where I was left speechless. It is now my all-time favorite venue. You'll see why.
Congratulations you two -- you're married! I hope that you're enjoying your honeymoon!
At 32 degrees, it was cold out. But everyone braved the winds for 15 minutes for portraits outdoors!
We took advantage of the time while Emily & Nick were waiting to be introduced for a couple cozy indoor portraits, out of the cold.
